General information for consulting the site

Access to and consultation of the site are subject to the following Terms and Conditions and the regulations in force. Access and consultation of this site therefore imply unconditional acceptance of the Terms and Conditions below and the ineffectiveness and invalidity of any other different agreement between the visitor and the operator of the site.

This site is managed by Provincia Italiana Pie Discepole del Divin Maestro (hereinafter PDDM).

Terms and conditions

Although PDDM makes every effort to include accurate and up-to-date information on the site, it is not possible to provide any guarantee on the content of the site which must therefore be properly evaluated by the visitor. PDDM therefore assumes no responsibility of any kind with regard to the use of the site and its content.

In particular, PDDM shall not be liable for defects in the accuracy, updating, completeness, adequacy, timeliness of the information contained on the site nor for any damage or viruses that may affect the computer equipment or other property of the visitor as a result of accessing, using or browsing the site or downloading materials, data, text, images, video or audio of the site. PDDM reserves the right to interrupt or suspend the functionality of the site at any time without incurring any liability, whether as a result of the actions or omissions of PDDM or third parties.


The information on the site may contain technical or typographical errors.

PDDM reserves the right to make changes, corrections and improvements to the above information, products and programs described by PDDM at any time and without notice.

The site also contains links to other third party sites deemed of interest to the visitor. By linking to such sites, you leave the PDDM site of your own free choice and without any constraints. The information contained may not be in line with the provisions of Italian law and in particular with those of Legislative Decree 219/2006 which regulates the advertising of medicines for human use and are in any case completely independent and out of the control of PDDM.

Downloading, viewing and printing information from this site is permitted for personal use only. Any use of the content of this site for non-personal or commercial purposes is prohibited without the written consent of PDDM.

It is obligatory to keep and reproduce any information on intellectual property rights present in the material that is downloaded from the site. Unless otherwise specified, any material on the Site shall be considered as protected by copyright and may be used only in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or as specified in the texts of the Site, except with the written consent of PDDM. 

PDDM does not assume any warranty with respect to possible violations of third party rights by visitors/users resulting from misuse of the material contained on the site.

The splitting of parts or sections of this site and/or their incorporation into other third party sites is prohibited.

The visitor/user of the site is not granted any right of economic exploitation of the material contained in the site.

Without prejudice to the information that is subject to the privacy regulations on the Internet, all communications or material transmitted to the site by visitors/users by e-mail or any other means, including data, questions, comments, suggestions and the like, will be treated as non-confidential and unprotected information, unless otherwise indicated.

PDDM acquires the availability of all the information or material  transmitted or sent to the site with every wider faculty of use including, by way of example, the reproduction, transmission or posting and publication.  PDDM is also free to use any idea, concept, know-how or technique contained in communications received from the site for any purpose whatsoever including, by way of example, the development, production and marketing of products based on such information.

PDDM, should it find a violation of these terms and conditions of use of the site, reserves the right to take any corrective action without prior notice, including the exclusion of the visitor/user from access to the site and its services and the removal of any material posted on the site by the same visitor/user, without assuming any responsibility in this regard.

The visitor/user undertakes to keep PDDM indemnified for all claims, damages, liabilities, legal proceedings and any other prejudicial consequences resulting from the improper use by the visitor/user of the services of discussion, exchange of opinions, sending, transmission and the like provided by the site. The above is intended to refer, by way of example only, to any action relating to violations of copyright, trademarks, patents, protection of intellectual and industrial property, unfair competition and defamation.

Privacy Guarantees

The term "personal data" means all information that can be used to identify, directly or indirectly, a natural or legal person. PDDM will not process your personal data without your consent where this is not permitted by applicable law. In the processing of your personal data, PDDM undertakes to comply with the European Regulation 679/2016 and in any case with the applicable national and international legislation on the protection of privacy. Within the framework of the above,  PDDM guarantees compliance with the strictest security standards for your personal data. In addition to the above information, pursuant to and for the purposes of articles 12 and 13 of European Regulation no. 679 of 27 April 2016 (in short, also "GDPR") PDDM wishes to provide further information to its users.

Use of personal data

When registering on our site, you may need to complete some fields (some are required, some are optional) as well as choose a user name and password. In this case, failure to provide some of the personal data requested may make it impossible for the visitor to access certain sections of the site and for PDDM to respond to requests received.

PDDM processes the personal data collected for specific and limited purposes in relation to which information is given at the time of the request for information. By way of example, the collection and use of personal data may be for the purpose of providing products or services, charging for the products or services requested, if expressly provided for, selling products or services deemed of interest to visitors/users of the site or communicating with them for other purposes. The information transmitted to our Customer Service is used only to solve the problem of the user/customer and in any case kept confidential.

PDDM stores your data only for the time reasonably necessary for the purposes set out above and in accordance with the applicable legal and/or ethical obligations for document retention.

Confidentiality of information

Any communication to third parties or dissemination of your personal data may not be made without your prior consent. PDDM will not disclose or otherwise communicate your personal data to third parties. Nevertheless, such data may occasionally be transferred to third parties acting on behalf of PDDM or in connection with PDDM's business activities, in order to carry out further processing in accordance with the purposes for which the data was originally collected.

Where the  disclosure of personal data to third parties is likely or necessary for any reason, PDDM will ensure that such communication and the intended use of the data are clearly made explicit for the purpose of a correct expression of consent.

The above mentioned third parties may adopt different codes of conduct for Privacy. In any case, PDDM intends to ensure that such third parties provide the same level of protection as PDDM itself and,  where applicable, it will contractually require them to process the data transferred to them only for the purposes expressly authorised by PDDM.

No "sensitive" data (e.g. health information) will be disclosed to third parties without your prior written consent.

Your consent, given in accordance with the provisions of this paragraph, may always be revoked. In this case, PDDM may no longer be able to meet your requests. PDDM will, where possible, inform third parties to whom your data has been transferred of the revocation of your consent.

Transfer of data abroad

Without prejudice to the information received above, no further transfer of data outside the EU or to international organisations is envisaged. In any case, if the need arises PDDM will verify whether or not there is an adequacy decision of the EU Commission ensuring an adequate level of data protection.

Security and confidentiality

To ensure the security and confidentiality of personal data collected online, PDDM will use data systems protected, among other things, by appropriate firewalls and passwords. Access to personal data is allowed only to “Persons in charge” and authorized persons who have an actual need to use such data and who have been instructed to process such data in an appropriate manner, in accordance with the principles of security and confidentiality. Compliance with PDDM codes and procedures by personnel is subject to periodic checks and inspections. While PDDM cannot entirely exclude the possibility of loss, fraudulent use or alteration of data, it aims to prevent such adverse events.

Right of access by the data subject

PDDM informs you of the following rights:

(a)           right of access, rectification, cancellation, limitation, opposition:

the data subject may access his/her own personal data at any time, request its rectification if incorrect, request the deletion of data that are excessive, but not those required by law to the Data Controller, and may limit the access of data to certain figures;

  1. b) right to data portability:

the data subject has the right to receive in a structured format, of common use and readable by automatic device his/her personal data, held by the data controller, and has the right to transmit such data to another data controller without hindrance by the data controller to whom he/she has provided them exclusively in the cases provided for by art. 20 of the GDPR;

  1. c) the right to withdraw consent at any time:

the data subject may revoke the consent at any time, assuming the consequences thereof (including the interruption of contractual services), without prejudice to the obligation of the Data Controller to continue to hold the personal data, subject to this processing when this is necessary to fulfil a legal obligation of the Data Controller or for the performance of a task in the public interest or related to the exercise of authority vested in the Data Controller.

  1. d) right to lodge a complaint with a privacy control authority or data protection authority.

Anonymous data and "Cookies

During your visit to the PDDM website, no personal data is collected except with your permission.

Anonymous information is processed by PDDM in order to improve the content of the site and to compile aggregate statistics on those who visit our site, this for internal purposes and for market research. As part of this activity, PDDM may install "cookies" that collect the user's top-level domain name (for example '' from an email address such as: nameThis email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.), date and time of access.  A "cookie" is information sent to your browser and stored on your computer's hard drive. “Cookies" have no harmful effect on your computer. PDDM does not accept the practice of "spamming", that is the sending of unsolicited e-mail messages, generally of a commercial nature, in large numbers and repeatedly to individuals with whom the sender has had no previous contact or who have expressed a desire not to receive such communications. On the other hand, if PDDM believes that certain products, services or information in the field of health may be of interest to you, PDDM reserves the right to inform you by e-mail while recognizing the possibility to refuse the information service.

Use of the site by minors

PDDM sites are intended for use and consultation by people of legal age. Requests from minors will not be taken into consideration.
